I can rightfully call my experience with this antivirus negative. When installing the main product, a bunch of real junk is downloaded, such as a proprietary browser and other incomprehensible nonsense. So the question arose, How remove antivirusAvira and clean your PC of all the bells and whistles that accompany it.

I had to deal with the fact that after installation many processes began to freeze. Claim about poor quality I don’t use an antivirus, but I like many proven programs much better.

I'll show you what additional shortcuts appear on the desktop complete with the main Avira program:

You can usually put a check mark in a certain place to prevent all this crap from being installed. But in this case, I still haven't found where to do it. But downloading installation file I did it on the official website, which by default means the installer is authentic.

Now about the peculiar jokes when trying to remove the program. It’s probably clear to everyone that before starting the process I wanted to turn off Avira, that is, get out of it. It turned out that the Exit item simply did not appear after clicking on the tray icon.

What does this mean? I can’t log out in the usual mode, so I’ll delete it in this mode. I press the Win + R buttons and paste appwiz.cpl into the Run window.

All programs installed on the computer will be visible in the window that opens. After clicking View on the panel, you can see all updates, including Windows ones. But this is so - the lyrics, let's go back to our Avira. I found it, but there was also a lot of accompanying rubbish located here!

No other options other than sequential individual removal occurred to me. Just a nightmare, the work program tossed me up! I start by uninstalling the antivirus itself, right-clicking on Avira Antivirus and activate the Delete function.

Wow, what a terrible message appeared as a result of my simple action!

Of course, all this looks not only threatening, but also a little funny. Since I'm confident in what I'm doing, I continue with the removal process. As a result, the uninstallation of Avira begins.

Windows detected my actions and warned me about disabling the program.

Nothing extraordinary happened. The removal wizard confirmed the correctness of the operation, and the program left the computer safely. But to eliminate the accompanying files and folders, you must restart your PC. It is advisable not to delay this process, which is what I did.

Here I realized that I had made a mistake. The reboot has already begun, but the components remained after the antivirus was removed! This is where the trick lies - during installation, everything is loaded en masse, and removal must be done separately for each element.

After loading Windows, the Avira icon still remained in its place.

But you shouldn’t be upset about the glitch, it’s just an Avira Connect program. Now we need to work on this component. I perform all the actions that I performed for the antivirus.

In the new window that appears, select the Delete function.

It was then that I encountered an unexpected gift.

It’s good that this is not a glitch, so I calmly canceled the deletion and switched to the Avira program Software Updater.

Clicked Yes in the following message:

For some time, this window hung on the screen:

Ten seconds later it disappeared and the program disappeared. Next I started Avira System Speedup.

In the Delete Options, I checked the confirmation boxes against backup copies and settings.

I received a message about the deletion, and I started using the Avira Scout browser. After selecting the Delete button, I checked the box confirming the removal of work data and activated the operation.

Everything happened normally, and at the end the browser icon disappeared from the start menu. I performed exactly the same actions in relation to Avira Phantom VPN, and everything went very quickly and clearly.

Thus, we have dealt with almost all components, except for the most important one - Avira Connect. Let's start working with him.

After clicking Delete, something strange began to happen.

However, in the end this window appeared:

Pay attention to the beautiful green shimmering icon located on the taskbar.

But that's not all. No matter how tired we are, it is advisable to clean up all traces left by Avira in the system. Personally, I eliminate all leftovers so I don't have to worry about computer performance.

First, let's deal with the garbage among the files by holding down the Win + E buttons. In the right text corner of the explorer, enter the word avira:

Let's wait and find this trash:

To confirm the operation, click Yes.

Then the original window appears, in which I checked the box and once again confirmed the deletion.

It turned out that this element could not be detected - which means it had already been eliminated in some other way. So I'll use the Skip function.

The result was that three elements were still present in the results.

Don't be upset, this is just a trace and not proof of the presence of the elements. The next time you open it, nothing will be found.

Now you can be sure that your computer is clean from Avirov’s rubbish.

But it’s too early to stop there. I press Win + R to check the registry for garbage.

The search is performed by pressing the key combination Ctrl + F and entering the word Avira in the window that appears.

In this case, the accompanying window is also displayed.

The peculiarity of the search is that it searches for one individual element, each of which is deleted individually.

To move to the next search stage, press F3.

Be careful not to delete something you need that has the phrase avira in its name.

I hope that now it will be easier for you to perform certain operations if you need to clean your computer from unnecessary programs, and the process itself will not cause any special complications.
